Quality Control at Every Step
Quality control is most effective when requirements are defined before production and checked throughout the workflow.
Incoming information and materials
Teams need an approved specification, current artwork and clearly identified materials before work begins. Missing or conflicting information should be resolved first.
In-process review
- Monitor dimensions that affect fit or function.
- Review print placement and general appearance.
- Check forming, sealing or assembly points relevant to the item.
- Record observations using an agreed sampling approach.
Final inspection and traceability
Finished goods can be checked against the approved specification before release. Packing labels and production records help connect the shipment to the reviewed batch.
